ASTRIDO GROUP , established in 1974, started as a vehicle trading company located at Batu Tulis Raya, Central Jakarta, with the name CV. Sumber Jaya Motor. In a short period of time, the company created a manufacturing plant producing Toyota Hi-Ace? minibuses. With time, the company produced some of the highly demanded cars of its time, namely: Toyota Kijang Levin, Road-Master?, Rover, Roverace, and Daihatsu Ranger. In 1984, the company was appointed as TOYOTA and DAIHATSU authorized dealers by PT. Astra Internasional Tbk and changed its name to PT. Astrido Jaya Mobilindo. The company continued to expand its branches by building several outlets in Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bekasi under the name of ASTRIDO TOYOTA and ASTRIDO DAIHATSU, respectively.
